The Story Behind Our Family Business

L’ERA began with Angèle.

After leaving school, she took a job at a local family jeweller and discovered a world she hadn’t expected to fall in love with. She learned what makes jewellery beautiful, how thoughtful design affects quality and longevity, and, most importantly, how the right piece can change the way someone feels.

She wanted to create a jewellery brand of her own, built around beautiful, distinctive designs, quality and a better way of doing business.

That idea became L’ERA.

From an Idea to a Family Business

As Angèle’s plans grew, I found myself falling in love with the idea too. I was rebuilding my life after divorce and had discovered for myself how something as simple as wearing jewellery could help restore confidence and make you feel like yourself again.

So I asked Angèle if I could join her.

She made me pitch to my own daughter.

A week later, she said yes.

Together, we built L’ERA from our living room and officially launched on 1 August 2023.

A year later, Talia (Angèle's sister), joined us, bringing her own creativity and perspective to the business. What began as Angèle’s idea had become a true family business, built by three very different women with one shared ambition.
