2 Year Warranty

Two-Year Jewellery Warranty

At L’ERA we believe your jewellery should last, both in style and in quality. That’s why we offer a Two-year warranty on all of our pieces purchased here, covering any issues that arise from manufacturing faults. (on pieces purchased from 28.10.2025. Pieces purchased before this date benefit from a 1 year warranty)

Please note only jewellery purchased directly from our online store benefits from our two year warranty. Jewellery purchased through a marketplace e.g. TikTok Shop benefit from a 1 year warranty.

The warranty is non-transferable, and any claim must be made by the original purchaser. If you received the product as a gift, please ask the original purchaser (gifter) to contact us first.

What’s Covered

Your piece is covered under our two-year warranty from the original purchase date if purchased on or after 28.10.2025  Pieces purchased before this date benefit from a one year warranty period.

  • Faulty clasps, chains, or jump rings
  • Loose or missing stones (due to manufacturing defects)
  • Plating that peels or bubbles
  • Breakage caused by a defect in craftsmanship

If your piece is eligible, we’ll either repair or replace it - on us.

What’s Not Covered

While we build our jewellery to last, some things fall outside our warranty:

  • Normal wear and tear (fading, scratches, or tarnishing over time). Remember, silver can always be polished back and proper care of your gold vermeil should see your jewellery last for years.
  • Damage from improper care (including water, lotions, perfumes, or sweat)
  • Lost or stolen items
  • Accidental damage, catching your chain or bracelet and braking it (snags, pulls, or drops). Undue pressure causing squashed pieces.
  • Any modifications or repairs done by third parties.
  • Any staining of enamel, pearls or mother of pearl. This can occur from contact with strong colour substances such as lily pollen, certain spices or hair colour etc

Gold vermeil requires a little love to stay looking its best. Please see our care guide below to help extend the life of your jewellery.

Care Guide

It’s important to follow our care tips to get the longest life out of your jewellery.

Store Properly: When you're not wearing your gold vermeil/sterling silver jewellery, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep your items separate to help prevent scratching.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Keep your gold vermeil/sterling silver jewellery away from harsh chemicals such as perfumes, lotions, household cleaners, chlorine, and abrasive substances. These chemicals can damage the gold vermeil plating and cause it to fade or sterling silver to tarnish.

Potential Staining: Keep enamel, pearl, and mother-of-pearl pieces away from substances that can stain them, such as lily pollen, food spices, hair dye, and similar products.

Gentle Cleaning: To clean your gold vermeil/sterling silver jewellery, use a soft, lint-free cloth or a microfiber cloth to gently wipe away dirt, oils, and fingerprints. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh cleansers on our gold pieces, as they can remove or damage the gold vermeil layer. Do not use jewellery dips or ultrasonic cleaners. Our silver dip or silver polish cloth can be used on our solid sterling silver pieces only, without stones (other than diamonds)

Avoid Excessive Moisture: Minimize your jewellery's exposure to moisture, including water and humidity. Remove your sterling silver pieces before swimming, bathing, or participating in activities that may cause excessive sweating. Moisture can speed up tarnishing and potentially damage delicate gemstones or pearls.

Use of chemicals to clean your jewellery: Our silver dip and silver polish cloth are strictly for use on solid silver only and they should not come into contact with any stones or pearls except L'ERA LG Diamonds. For our gold pieces, a gentle wipe with our standard (non-impregnated) cloth should be all you need.
